Erin Donnelly Ellis $ Thano Ellis

Erin Donnelly Ellis was born & raised in Chicago but now makes her home in Reno, Nevada. She is a Photographer, Jewelry Artist & Reiki Master Teacher.
Erin started shooting pictures at a very young age, documenting everything she could with her father’s point and shoot.  However, she didn’t get any formal training until she was a student at Columbia College in Chicago.
Erin was a weekly contributing photographer in Las Vegas City Life from 2002-2004. Her work has also appeared in Las Vegas Magazine, Las Vegas Business Press, Horse The Band’s album R. Borlax 2003 and for SilentCorp.
Erin has also been a silversmith, since 1992 she was lucky enough to have a jewelry program at her high school. By 1995 she received her high school’s artist of the year award for her jewelry designs. Now, not only does she make everything by hand but she also mines all of her gemstones with her husband, lapidary artist, Thano Ellis.  
Erin feels very lucky to live & work with such a talented man, her jewelry is made more unique and beautiful by using one of Thano’s amazing stones. She has never found the same shapes anywhere else. Her work would not be the same without his, we complement each other perfectly. Together they send Reiki to the Earth while looking for and gathering stones. They also use Reiki to clear negative energy out of all their materials, while raising the vibration of all of their work.
Erin even has a unique line of pendants combining both of her talents. To top it off, she is also a Reiki Master Teacher and Reiki Crystal Healing & sound healing Practitioner. All of her Jewelry is infused with Reiki while it is being created to raise the vibrational frequency.  Her unique perspective gives an interesting spark to her designs.
Erin is also a proud member of Etsy’s street team ‘The Handmade Hustlers’  promoting handmade in the biggest little city, RENO NV, creators of the Indie Reno Craft fair
THANO ELLIS
Thano Ellis was born in Florida and raised in the southwest, between Arizona & Nevada.  He is a very talented self taught Lapidary artist.  
He now lives in the Sierra Nevada mountains, with his wife Erin. His home provides balance between his passions, snowboarding and mining gemstones for his Lapidary art.
He enjoys making beautiful cabochons from the treasures mother earth has bestowed. He mines, cuts, shapes and polishes every stone by hand. All his stones are freeformed to the shape, his intuition feels the stone wants to be in thus, creating very unique and one-of-a-kind stones.
Untainted by commercial equipment or chemical treatments. He travels all over the country mining new specimens with his wife and partner Erin Donnelly Ellis.
She takes his creations and infuses them with Sterling Silver to make a special piece of jewelry. Reiki infused from start to finish their jewelry possesses an energy unlike anything one may have experienced before.
