Adam started playing the upright bass in Port Angeles, Washington when he was 13, for musical director Ron Jones in the Symphony Orchestra. At the age of 16 he bought a used electric bass and started getting together regularly with songwriter/friend Justin Rivet and they formed Rotted Roots, a country/folk/grassroots rock band. In 2003, when he was 17, he filled an open bass player position with a rock n roll cover band that Justin Rivet was playing drums and singing for. Adam played with Justin Ziegler, singer/songwriter for the Tanbandanaman Band. Since 2006, Adam has left Port Angeles and tours out of Reno, NV with the alternative/pop/grunge/rock band The Kanes.
